As the first quarter of 2021 has wrapped up, it's time to dive into the performance of the top personal finance budgeting and planning applications on the Android platform in the United Kingdom. The data, sourced from Sensor Tower, highlights the downloads, revenue, and weekly active users for each app.

Emma - Budget Planner Tracker showed a significant increase in weekly downloads, peaking at 8.5K in late March. Weekly active users also saw an upward trend, reaching a high of 43.6K in the same period. Revenue for Emma fluctuated throughout the quarter, with the highest recorded at approximately $3.7K.

For Wallet: Budget Expense Tracker, downloads remained fairly steady, averaging around 500 per week. Active users hovered around the 6K mark, with a slight dip towards the end of the quarter. Revenue trends showed some variability, with a peak at $1.8K mid-quarter.

Spendee - Budget and Expense T experienced minimal download activity, with a notable lack of downloads for several weeks, then a slight uptick to 23 by the end of March. The weekly active users remained under 300 for the entire quarter, indicating a smaller but perhaps consistent user base.

Splitwise saw a consistent number of weekly downloads, with numbers rising towards the end of the quarter to 662. Active users showed a similar pattern, ending the quarter with over 10.4K users. Revenue for Splitwise also increased, ending the quarter at nearly $1K.

Lastly, Budget planner—Expense tracker downloads varied, with the highest at 989 in late January, and a drop to 546 by the end of March. Active users saw a slight decline over the quarter, starting at 6.8K and decreasing to 5.5K. Revenue, however, peaked at just over $1K in early March.
